About Morquis Pleas
Morquis Pleas is the alter ego of Andrew Downie. Being in various bands playing pubs in his local area he noticed that the band scene wasn't for him but he still wanted to perform music. So he set out to create music that showed his own personality rather than a style which resembled various members and influences. In December 2006 whilst feeling quite flush, Andrew bought a Microkorg and started recording his ideas, within a few days the EP "And Then There Were One" was complete but the idea of Morquis Pleas didn't seem to be there.
