The aim of the project was to create stripped-down black metal. Mormânt De Snagov respects classical black metal influences immensely, but also explores new territories boldly and adds new aspects to the genre. A great part of the lyrics have risen from the frustration towards the hypocritical religious community and are openly blasphemous.
