Mop Mop "...a bastard performance of modern jazz based on riffs looped almost till monotony..." But Mop Mop is also exotic rhythm, Italian melody, and improvisation. Sounds like Nicola Conte, Gerardo Frisina, The Five Corners Quintet. Andrea Benini (born March 14, 1977), aka Mop Mop, is a musician, music producer, and composer from Cesena, Italy. He has worked in jazz, funk and club music. In 2005, his main project became Mop Mop, a funk/afro/jazz combo. As of 2013, Benini is living and producing new works in Berlin.
