Moonstone Project is the ambitious musical creature of italian guitarist and songwriter Matt Filippini. The first album, originally released back in 2006 as “Time To Take A Stand” is a collection of classic rock songs, written by Filippini himself with the collaboration of songwriters close to him…The music is influenced by British classic bluesy hard rock of 70’s…you find bits of Free, Hendrix, Deep Purple, Led Zep…sounding as a 2000s record.
