About Mononoid
Mononoid are Andy Godderis and Igor Shumlyanskiy. Andy, born in Belgium but raised in the Netherlands, started DJ’ing back in 1986 as a hip-hop DJ for the band Utile Connection and grew towards dance in the early 90s. After organizing parties in the Netherlands and performing on many underground locations, he was asked to became a resident DJ for a club in China. Returning to the Netherlands a year later, he continued to perform which eventually lead to him winning the Twix Talent Room in 2001.
