From playing his original songs acoustic in small rural towns in country Victoria five hundred kms from the nearest city, Rod Davitt, singer ,guitarist and songwriter for Monkeytin , dragged his Bass player and Drummer all over Victoria and South Australia in 2005 playing small pubs and smaller pubs in places like Bendigo , Ballarat, SwanHill and Mildura eventually making their way to popular venues around Melbourne .On their way to record first 5 track Ep in Adelaide
