About Moe Pope

Boston MC Moe Pope's career first took off in the early 2000s with Bay Area-based hip-hop band Crown City Rockers, which originally formed in Boston as Mission:. Aside from singles and 12"s, Pope only appeared on the group's first LP, One, in 2001, before he decided to return to Boston in order to look after his daughter. Back in his hometown, he started performing with rapper/producer Insight and his five-man outfit Electric (formerly Electric Company).
