Mjölner is the name of at least 3 bands: 1) A Chilean Folk Black Metal/Ambient band. 2) A Swedish Viking Rock band 3) Swedish punk band In Norse mythology, Mjölner (literally, "That which crushes") is the Hammer of Thor, the god of lightning and thunder. 1) Mjölner was created in 1994 by Doomicus, in the need to express the musical ideas that, in certain form, did not continue exactly the musical esthetics of Bewitched (Circa Hibernum In Perpetuum).
