Melbourne, Australia based quartet who play distortion drenched shoegaze taking cues from My Bloody Valentine, The Stone Roses, Sonic Youth and Deerhunter. A story that is sure to be blown out of proportion before Mission Control's career is over, is how they got to know renowned French producer Phillipe Zdar (Cassius): the story goes that Zdar added a song by the band to his Myspace page, unbeknown to the band, before contacting them and lavishing his praises on their sound.
