MiRthkon are an American avant-garde rock band. Under the lead of guitarist Wally Scharold, they play a mix of off-beat, aggressive and dry guitar riffs with complex, unusual compositions and woodwind lines (mostly saxophones, but also clarinets). Sometimes it sounds like a less hectic and less traversed version of Doctor Nerve, sometimes it reminds of the late Frank Zappa (although updated with very heavy guitars). German listeners will be reminded of the more off-beat moments of Panzerballett
