Miriam Prandi, thanks to a musical talent of rare communication and versatility, stands out with her interpretations as an exceptional personality capable of tackling the solo and chamber repertoire not only as a cellist but also as a pianist. In January 2014 she was awarded the overall First Prize at the Rahn Musikpreis in Zurich by a jury of important musicians chaired by the cellist Sol Gabetta, making her debut at the Tonhalle in Zurich with Dvořák’s Concerto.
