About Mike Nock Project

The Mike Nock Project is a jazz group formed by Mike Nock for the 2004 Wangaratta (Australia) Festival. The Project consists of musicians Mike Nock, Julien Wilson, Steve Magnusson, Eugene Ball, Tim Wilson, James Greening, Dale Gorfinkel, Brett Hirst and Toby Hall. Following the festival they collaborated on the 2007 album "Meeting of the Waters." Mike Nock was born September 27, 1940 in Christchurch, New Zealand. He began studying piano at 11 and by 18 had gigs in Australia.
