About Miguel Poveda
Born in Badalona (Barcelona), Spain, in 1973 In 2007, he received the National Prize of Music for his great ability as a performer. When he was fifteen years old, he started to sing in the “Peñas Flamencas” circle. In 1993, after winning four prizes including the “Lámpara Minera” (one of the most prestigious prizes in the Flamenco genre) in the national singing contest, “Cante de las Minas” in La Unión (Murcia-Spain), he started his professional career.
