About Midstress
Midstress is a melodic punk band from Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. They write songs about being a kid, being stoked, and being pissed off. Their first album, titled Turn Up The Brilliance, was released in 2010 under the alias The Fresh Kills. The band changed their name shortly after due to unforeseen circumstances involving another band with the same name. In late 2011 they released their second album, titled Growing Up Is Getting Old.
