About Meyna Hassaan
Hassan Mohamed (or Holhudhoo Meyna Hassaan, as he is popularly known), 40, Maldivian vocalist/composer, released his first album titled “Maldives Fantasy” in 1992, followed a short time later by his second album “Maldives Ecstasy”; both of which became ‘superhits’ due to the unique local flavor that was prevalent in his foot tapping tunes and hummable lyrics; something that is very lacking in the usual Dhivehi productions. Shortly after releasing his second album he had left the music industry
