About Mexico 1910
Mexico 1910 was born in New Orleans at the beginning of 2001. They recorded a demo CD later that year and got beaucoup airplay from Tulane University's WTUL. That momentum saw them through to late ‘02 when they started work on "Sharpen Your Crutches", a 4-song EP they recorded with Jason Rhein of Rotary Downs. After hooking up with Austin-based friends in My Education they did two tours, once through the Gulf South and once to the Northeast. Finally
