About Messy Shelters
Mikkel Bolding aka Messy Shelters practically appeared out of nothing in 2008 and swept Danish reviewers off their feet. Having heard only a few demos on Myspace, Tigerspring were so impressed, that they immediately signed Bolding´s one-man-project and his debut-EP “Abandonship” appeared in fall 2008 to great reviews. A full-length album is expected in 2010. Abandonship EP: Bolding - who produced and plays all the instruments on “Abandonship” - cleverly and effortlessly switches between grandiose indiepop, shoegazer and gloomy folk.
