About Merlyn Driver
Merlyn Driver (born and raised in Orkney) is a Scottish songwriter and vocalist, as well as a writer and educator. His debut EP "This Is the Corner of a Larger Field" was released on 26 May 2017 on Mirliton Records. He put together a multi-artist album of newly-commissioned music and soundscapes inspired by one of the UK’s most iconic and endangered birds, the Eurasian curlew, in collaboration with the RSPB; the album "Simmerdim: Curlew Sounds" was released in May 2022.
