About Melis Kar
Melis Kar was born on March 18, 1990, in Antakya, Hatay, Turkey, to parents Hicran and Necdet Kar. She began piano lessons at age seven and formed her first musical group in high school, performing on stage for the first time. She completed her primary education at Cemil Şükrü Çolakoğlu Elementary School and attended Selim Nevzat Şahin Anatolian High School. In 2008, she moved to Istanbul to study architecture at Bahçeşehir University’s Faculty of Architecture & Design.
