About Mele
MELE (born Marlene Dora Schittenhelm in 1995) is a German singer-songwriter and former TV/online host. Raised in a musical family in Esslingen, she discovered her passion for songwriting at a very young age — reportedly writing her first song at age three in a supermarket. From 2014 to 2020, she studied pop singing, piano, and electric bass at the Institute of Music at Osnabrück University of In 2017, she founded a band under the name MELE, and released her debut EP “Tschau Karen!” that same year.
