About Mela Tenenbaum
Mela Tenenbaum - Concertmaster of the Philharmonia Virtuosi since 1993, she appears regularly as soloist with the orchestra and in recital. During the summer months, she is a participant in the Seattle Chamber Music Festival. Before emigrating in 1990 from the Ukraine, Ms. Tenenbaum performed as resident soloist with the Kiev Chamber Orchestra and the Kiev State Philharmonic and was concertmaster of the Perpetuum Mobile. Equally at home with the violin, viola and, the rarely encountered, viola d'amore, Ms.
