
Mehad Hamad al-Muhairi (Arabic: ميحد حمد المهيري; born May 22, 1963) is an Emirati singer-songwriter and poet from Kalba, Eastern Sharjah. Recognized for his proficiency in singing in the Hadhr al-Sahel al-Sharqi dialect, he is considered a key figure in Emirati and Bedouin music. Often referred to as one of the greatest Emirati musicians, Hamad began his singing career in 1975, initially focusing on the oud. Hindered by circumstances, he couldn't complete his secondary studies, leading him to engage in multiple jobs.
