McDougall is a one man band who comes out of the Pacific Northwest with his honest, lyrical, stomp and holler style of Americana. He is a writer and singer first and foremost, but brings in the extra element of multi-instrumentalism to take his old-timey folklore to another level. The things he sings about are the very things he lives - traveling by hitch hiking, freight train, tour vans, etc. and living a simple life, unencumbered by many of the fleeting goals modern society mistakenly claims as fruitful.
