About MC Tha
Thais Dayane da Silva, who performs under the stage name MC Tha, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. Born in Cidade Tiradentes, on the outskirts of São Paulo, she ventured into funk parties as the only female MC. Despite not having studied music, Thais began to compose only by observing other songs, soon resulting in an amateur recording being disseminated in Cidade Tiradentes through his late brother Douglas. At the age of 15, Thais composed a track and was encouraged by a friend to record it.
