
About Max Brooks
Max Brooks (born Maximillian Brooks on May 22, 1972 in New York City) is an author and screenwriter. He is the son of director Mel Brooks and actress Anne Bancroft. He is a 1994 graduate of Pitzer College. His wife, Michelle, is a screenwriter, and the couple have a son, Henry. From 2001 to 2003, Brooks was a member of the writing team at Saturday Night Live. Brooks is also the author of The Zombie Survival Guide, published in 2003 (ISBN 1-4000-4962-8).
