About Matzal
Drums down long dark corridors and washes of distorted bass combine together to blur the foregrounds and backgrounds of music. Matzal is a collaboration between 2 musicians from the Perth experimental music scene, Steve Matzkov and DrAlienSmith. Steve is best known for performing and recording his own unique guitar based music under the moniker of the High Impedence, while DrAlienSmith was a member of Lux Mammoth and more recently, the Smidirin project.
