Southern Wisconsin singer/songwriter Matthew Buckley straddles the line between pastoral hippie folkie and lo-fi indie troubadour. Taking influence from classic folk/rock and Americana acts such as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead, as well as more contemporary indie groups such as The Apples in Stereo and Neutral Milk Hotel. Whether interpreting the songs of his idols or presenting his original compositions, Buckley's untrained, yet sincere delivery and display illustrate authenticity.
