About Matt Wixson
Matt Wixson is a huge ska fan (he used to be huger but has lost a little weight) with too much time on his hands. His solo sounds range somewhere between the manic play-everything style of Bomb The Music Industry! and the stripped-down acoustic ska of Chris Murray. In his other solo project, Babylon Party Machine, Matt plays an original combination of techno-ska. He takes a no-bullshit approach to songwriting and wouldn't sing words unless he felt they were worthwhile. His songs can be political or personal, funny or depressing.
