His work is deliberately difficult to summarize; his numerous collaborations include modal electro-acoustic improvisation with Golden Retriever, orchestral arrangements and synthesizers with pop group Parenthetical Girls, sound installations, video soundtracks and performance art with Oregon Painting Society
