About Matchbook Romance
Matchbook Romance was a post-hardcore and emo band from Poughkeepsie, New York and were originally known as Fizzlewink and then The Getaway. The band formed in 1997, consisting of Andrew Jordan (vocals & guitar), Ryan Kienle (bass) and Jon Dunham (drums). This line up changed constantly throughout the years before they picked on the name Matchbook Romance. Initially, PJ Manzo (who will later join the band River's End) was their original lead guitarist
