About Massimo Volume
Italian group that came to notoriety in the Indie Italian scene of the 90s. They were based in Bologna, Italy. They play spoken-word indie rock in Italian, with influences from post-rock and noise-rock and late 70s/early 80s groups such as The Fall and Joy Division, but with an ear for melody. They were noticed particularly for their pregnant and dramatic lyrics, written by Emidio Clementi, who eventually published poetry and novels. After a debut EP and the album '"Stanze" (Rooms)
