About Marțolea
Marțolea is the pagan black metal project from Câmpulung, Romania, founded in 2008 by Alin Drimus, who also contributed live and studio pipe parts to Negură Bunget and Dordeduh. Marțolea is a demonic entity in Romanian mythology who lives up in the mountains and descends on Tuesday nights to lure with his singing and punish the women caught working. The first demo, "Gâlmele Întunericului", was released in 2009. The title is old Romanian for "the fiends of darkness".
