
Marion Eugénie Bauer (b. Walla Walla, Washington, August 15, 1882; d. South Hadley, Massachusetts, August 9, 1955) was an American composer. The daughter of French Jewish immigrants,[1] she studied piano with her sister Emilie in their hometown, and later with Henry Holden Huss and Eugene Heffley in New York. She studied harmony and analysis with Nadia Boulanger, in exchange for English lessons, and piano with Raoul Pugno, both in Paris. She also
