
About Mariel Buckley
Mariel Buckley (born in Calgary, Alberta) is a Canadian country music singer-songwriter based in Calgary, Alberta. The younger sister of singer T. Buckley, she recorded an EP in 2012, and her first album, Motorhome, in 2014. In 2018, she recorded her second album, the alt-country "Driving in the Dark". Her 2022 album, "Everywhere I Used to Be", was long- listed for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize. In December 2022, Buckley and her brother, as Mariel Buckley & T. Buckley, released a cover of The Tragically Hip's "Bobcaygeon" as a single.
