Maria Mazzotta (born 1982 in Lecce) is an Italian singer. She is considered a representative of the world music genre. Maria Mazzotta completed classical musical training as a pianist and harpist at the Lecce Conservatory, then concentrated on singing and traditional music and studied the musical traditions of Greece, Albania, Macedonia, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria and the Roma. She sings in the Salento dialect. From 2000 to 2014 she was a member of the ensemble Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino
