
Mari Tsuda (津田 真理) was born in Tokyo, she was graduated from Toho-Gakuen School of Music. During the freshman year at the college, she went abroad to attend the Mozarteum Academy in Salzburg, Austria and studied under Prof. Hans Leygraf. Studying at Academy in 1982, she was awarded the scholarship by the Austrian Government. In 1983, she won the First Prize and Special Prize at the 34th International Viotti Concours in Vercelli, Italy. Thereafter, she performed in various Italian cities and won high appraisal.
