About Marek Janowski
Marek Janowski Artistic and music director of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande The German conductor Marek Janowski studied in Germany and Italy. In his early career he was appointed music director of the opera house in Freiburg im Breisgau and also in Dortmund (1973-1979). Then from 1986 to 1990 he held the same position with the Gürzenich Orchestra in Cologne. In 1984 Marek Janowski was appointed music director of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France in Paris.
