About Marek Brandt
Marek Brandt is a German sound and media artist. He creates film music, art, music videos, and sonic installations. His music incorporates microsounds, granular synthesis, and field recordings. He started collecting sounds and field recordings in the early '90s using old dictaphones and transportable tape recorders, recording the world around him and experimenting with guitar and other stringed instruments. He would include this early material in his later video and sound Installations.
