About Marc Smith
Marc Smith is a hardcore and freeform DJ and producer from Scotland. Active since the mid-1980s, he is regarded as a legend in the UK rave scene, known for his high-energy sets, technical skills, and dedication to hardcore music. Smith's journey began in 1985 when he started mixing hip-hop in his bedroom, collaborating with local rappers, beatboxers, and breakdancers. In 1987, at 17 years old, he secured his first major residency at The Warehouse in Glasgow, an early acid house venue.
