About Maquinario
Formed from the ashes of Lumière, Rio de Janeiro’s Maquinario describe their music as “epic post/prog for perfectionists" and claim to believe that "music must aspire to being awesome.” Their combination of progressive boldness and modern electronic sonorities, which evoked comparisons to Radiohead and Muse, now also brings to mind the Deftones’ emotive heaviness, as well as Porcupine Tree and The Mars Volta’s grand scale.
