About Mantra Gora
MG started out in january 2005, when all were 19 to 21 years of age. The roots of the band, however, reach back to January 2004 when there were just 2 singers. Name Mantra Gora, carries no specific meaning, but it combines in itself an incantation mantra, the magic from the mandrake root and greatness, a oneness and a feeling of air from gora. All of the songs lyrics are in Estonian and written by Elerin Velling and Marilyn Jurman. Genre of this music maybe called folk/indie/jazz, but it maybe whatever you think it is.
