There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Mantar is a sludge duo from Germany formed in 2012. Their debut album "Death by Burning" was released in February 2014 on Svart Records. Recorded earlier in 2013, it is a raw, self-produced and 100% DIY display of power, that manages to sound heavy, in spite of the fact that no bass guitar was used on this record, just drums and guitar set for destruction. Flogging beats and blackened melodies meet feedback orgies and doom mayhem.
