About Manolo García
Manuel García García-Pérez was born in Poblenou, Barcelona on 19 August 1955. Singer, composer, and amateur painter, he recorded his first records with groups such as Los Rapidos and Los Burros before attaining commercial success with El Último de la Fila. He now pursues a solo career. His music is characterised by a pop-rock sound mixed with arab and flamenco rhythms and melodies. His words are lyrical and surreal. Little is known about Garcia's personal life, not even his marital status.
