About Mano Juodoji Sesuo
"Mano Juodoji Sesuo" (MJS or - My Black Sister in English) was formed in fall of 1991. The band consisted of Barbora (vocals) and Mindaugas (guitar, keyboard), who separated from the band "Post Meridian" and started playing independently. It was the same fall when they recorded their debut album "Byra byra karoliukai" (The Beads are Falling) consisting of 13 songs. The duet was compared to such bands as Dead Can Dance, The Cure, and Cocteau Twins because of the unique vocals of Barbora.
