About Mambo All-Stars
A mostly Cuban band (started in 2006 by a Chicago salsa instructor) that plays the lively dance songs of Latin culture. Songs are played most prominently with traditional Latin-American instruments such as trumpets and guitars and are usually sung in spanish. The group plays a wide repertoire of famous dance genres including Merengue, Bachata, Mambo, Latin Jazz, Boleros and Cha Cha Cha. Most recently the band's music appear in the hit T.V series Dexter.
