About Majosha
Majosha was a band formed around early 1988. They played their first gig at Duke University's Battle of the Bands, and after flamboyantly parading around the stage with their up-tempo music and covers of "Play That Funky Music" and "The Roof is on Fire", won first place. After a stint in bars and frat parties, they produced their own EP Party Night: Five Songs About Jesus. The 4 songs were entitled: "Get That Bug (Outta Your System)," "Kalamazoo," "Cool Whip," and "Where's Bohemia?" The EP sold in a few local stores.
