Maissa is singer songwriter from San Francisco, CA. With the 1995 release of her debut "Not What I Had Planned" on Sonic Records, Maissa gained critical acclaim throughout the U.S. in both Alternative Rock and Pop circles. Not What I Had Planned landed in Album Network magazine’s “The Best New Music” and charted in the top 30 (reaching as high as #4) on the CMJ National charts. Maissa toured heavily in support of the album opening for General Public
