About Mainsail
Mainsail was formed in the summer of 2009 in the California surf town of Ventura, CA by Joel C Bennett. Inspired by the beauty and spirit of Southern California, the Chicago native set out to blend surf music, indie-rock, and 80s shoegaze into a package that is undeniably catchy, unique, and upbeat. Recorded in the Ventura and Chicago, the self-released debut album is available now on iTunes, Amazon.com, and other major online retailers. Catch Mainsail live as they set sail throughout California in early 2010.
