There are at least three artists with the name Magnum Force 1) Alias of Rex Buron. 2) An Arizona powerviolence band. 3) A Soul/Funk Band from Chicago Biography Chicago’s own MAGNUM FORCE, Founded by Rick & Rory (Star) Sizemore in 1978. The band was formerly named “Seville” until 1980 when they were introduced to Carl Davis (CEO) of Carl Davis Productions and Chi-Sound records. Carl Davis asked them to change their name because it was said that someone else had the name Seville, first.
