About Madison
There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Madison was the first band for young Swedish singer Goran Edman, who later sang for Yngwie Malmsteen and several other hard rock acts. Initially formed as Regent in 1983, the band switched their name to Madison sometime later in 1983. Their debut LP "Diamond Mistress" was released the following year in 1984; the material was in the melodic hard rock/heavy metal sphere. The band seemingly vanished sometime around 1989-1990, but have since reformed in 2019.
